Dear Friends of the Coalition,

You’ve probably read that the human body is made of 60 to 75% water, so it should come as no surprise that water plays a central role in health maintenance. But it’s not just the water you put in your body that makes a difference. Exercising in water and numerous types of hydrotherapies can be extremely beneficial as well.

This month, in The Wonders of Water Workouts, we show you how exercising in water can be the very best way to get moving again—even for people with physical limitations or health concerns. Our Wellness Coach picks up the theme as she answers a reader’s question about exercising with bad knees; and we have a review of the many hydrotherapy techniques that you can easily and inexpensively put into practice at home. Plus, in our Culinary Corner, we have some delicious recipes for making your own flavored water.

Also in this issue: an interview with a urologist especially for men on maintaining prostate health; a registered dietitian offers tips for managing caffeine consumption, and a family nurse practitioner explains how our relationships and emotions can affect our health.

Here's what's in this issue:

New WCA Websites:
This summer, Wellness Coalition America launched a new corporate wellness site that now lives at our old address: www.wellnesscoalition.com. We will use this site to show corporate clients how we can help them lower their healthcare costs and improve the overall health of their employees. Now, all of our educational content—articles, videos, recipes, and other tools for living a healthier lifestyle—have a new home: www.trainforlifeamerica.com. We hope you will visit this new site often and share what you like with your friends.

Find us on Facebook:
Wellness Coalition America has joined the social networking revolution—just one more way to spread
the word about what we're doing to promote healthy lifestyles.  We hope you'll look us up and become a
fan to follow our progress.  (Click the logo to the right
to find our Facebook page.)
Ask the Wellness Coach:
Do you have a question about ways you can MOVE, FUEL, RELAX, MAINTAIN, and CONNECT that you would like one of our WCA Wellness Coaches to answer?  Just submit your question through our online form, and if your question is selected, the answer will be posted on our website.  You may also benefit from reading the answers to other readers’ questions.

Corporate wellness programs in great demand:
The Wellness Coalition America team is delighted by the positive response to our corporate wellness programs.  We are now serving more than 70 corporations throughout the Southeast and are receiving new requests for information each week from company managers who recognize the need within their own organizations.  We encourage you to review some of the ways we can help you customize a program for your specific needs.  For more information, please contact Andrew Grose at andrew@wellnesscoalition.com.

This is the 73nd edition of our Wellness From Within eZine, but if this is your first time to receive it, welcome.  We hope you find this information useful.  We are committed to delivering relevant, easy-to-read articles on health, nutrition, lifestyle, and exercise that will help you achieve your personal best.  Please let us know how we can better serve you—we welcome your feedback!

With an abundance of gratitude,
